About Cindy Learn, LCPC, NCC
I am a licensed clinical professional counselor in the state of Maryland. I am also an effective meeting facilitator and a collaborative workshop leader. My goal is to empower people to achieve meaningful healing, growth and balance in the their lives, relationships and organizations.
As the founder of Capital Crescent Counseling and Consulting, I bring with me a wide range of life experiences including supervisory positions in consulting/financial services companies, teaching, parenting, and community volunteering/advocacy. Since my first counseling internship in 2008, I have been grateful to be supporting individuals, families, and couples as they do the challenging and rewarding work of healing, growing, and living more authentically and joyfully. My clients often remark that they feel safe, peaceful, understood, and accepted in my office.
I have supported people through individual counseling, couples counseling, marriage counseling, relationship counseling, family counseling, and group counseling, from many different countries, faith traditions, economic backgrounds, sexual orientations, and gender identities. I have a deep appreciation for the wonderful diversity in the Washington, DC area and the way it enriches our community.
I have been a guest lecturer in Mindfulness and Stress Management at Case Western Reserve University's Washington, DC campus.
